20 ready-to-eat pitted dates, halved

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 shallots, chopped

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 Thai chili, finely chopped

1 teaspoon light brown sugar

2 tablespoons pomegranate molasses
