21 Ingredients

  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1 tbsp instant coffee
  • *Transparent glasses to serve would be more attractive. I used the glasses with 9cm across each.
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 2 tbsp amaretto
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 10 Savoiardi or sponge fingers, roughly crushed
  • 500 g fresh strawberry, washed, trimmed and cut in half
  • (For cheese cream)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • (For strawberry marinade)
  • (For meringue)
  • 50 g granulated sugar
  • (For the decoration)
  • 1 tbsp cointreau or dark rum
  • 100 ml hot water
  • (For the sponge)
  • 250 g mascarpone cheese, at room temperature
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 150 ml single cream
