Healthy Peanut Butter - Banana Oatmeal Raisin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients for 12 servings

1 cup mashed ripe bananas

1/3 cup natural nut butter peanut almond sunflower seed etc

1/2 applesauce unsweetened

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp salt

1 1/2 cups old fashioned oats

handful of chocolate chips shredded coconut raisins

to taste brown sugar

1 banana

drizzle honey

Preparation

1.

set oven to 350F. mash up bananas with a fork until they are completely chunk-free

2.

mix in peanut butter, apple sauce, vanilla, cinnamon and salt

3.

stir in oats

4.

add about a handful depending on your liking of chocolate chips, coconut and raisins

5.

add in brown sugar to sweeten to your taste

6.

make sure the batter is fully mixed, then scoop tbsp sized balls of dough on greased cookie sheet

7.

chop up banana into as many slices as there are cookies

8.

place banana slice down into the center of each cookie

9.

drizzle the top with honey

10.

sprinkle cinnamon on top (optional, I just love cinnamon)

11.

bake for 12-15 mins, rotating tray half way through

let cool before enjoying!
