1 1/2 -2 cups sweet white or port-style wine

1/2 cup whole blanched almonds (about 1/4 pound)

2 ounces Cambozola, Gorgonzola or other flavorful blue cheese

6 ounces bittersweet chocolate, melted

1 tablespoon toasted slivered almonds for garnish

Additional apricots cut into thin strips for garnish
