3 tablespoons curry powder

1 cup unsweetened coconut milk

1 cup canned low-sodium chicken broth

1 small sweet potato, peeled and cut into 1/2 -inch dice

2 small tomatoes, diced

2 whole star anise pods

1 bay leaf

1 teaspoon habanero sauce, plus more for serving

Salt and freshly ground pepper


1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese

36 triangular sheets of yufka (see Note)

Vegetable oil, for frying
