2 cups light all-purpose flour (white lily)

1 1/2 Tb. baking powder

1/2 tsp. cream of tartar

1 tsp. salt

4 Tb. chilled unsalted butter, cut into cubes

4 Tb. vegetable shortening, cut into cubes

¾ cup buttermilk

1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 Tb. shaved truffle (or 1 tsp. truffle oil)

2 Tb. Melted butter OR egg wash (1 egg + 1 Tb. Water)
