1 tsp vital wheat gluten

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp arrowroot flour

1/4 tsp salt

pinch of freshly grated nutmeg

pinch of xanthum gum

1 cup Earth Balance Buttery Stick, softened to room temperature

1 tsp vanilla or the seeds from a vanilla bean

1.5 cups raw granulated sugar

1 large apple, coarsely grated (I like spartans)

3 tbsp raw granulated sugar

1 tsp ground cinnamon
