Made this without pureeing, took most of the mushrooms out leaving a clearish consomme, added just a few nice looking ones back for effect. Nice.

Ingredients for 10 servings

1/2 oz dried wild mushrooms, minced

1/2 cup Water

1/2 cup dry white wine

4 tbsp Unsalted Butter

1 large white onion, chopped

3 cloves Garlic, Minced

16 oz white mushrooms, chopped

1 small rosemary sprigs

5 cups chicken or vegetable stock

1-2 tsp Salt

1-4 tsp black pepper
