Next time I'm going to use sweetened apple sauce it was to bland and not very much taste even tho they smelled amazing. But still tasted pretty good

These were delicious, however because of how wet they were they went sour (yes sour like tasted like bad milk) in a few short days.

While I love how healthy these are, the lack of butter is definitely evident in the end product. I prefer a bit more moisture and fluffiness in my muffins, personally. I'll keep this on file for the next time I'm entertaining the "granola" type though!

Ingredients

1 1/4 cup whole wheat flour

1 1/4 cup oats

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 cup unsweetened applesauce

1/2 cup low-fat buttermilk

1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar

2 tbsp canola oil

1 large egg, lightly beaten

3/4 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
