  • 1/3 cup Honey, mild-flavored such as clover.
  • 5 tbsp Whole Milk
  • 2 tbsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup For the Nanaimo bars--For the bottom layer: Unsalted Butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 5 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 x large egg, lightly beaten
  • 11/4 cup gluten free graham wafer crumbs
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds, lightly toasted
  • 1 cup unsweetened dry coconut, lightly toasted
  • 1/2 cup For the middle layer:Unsalted Butter, at room temperature
  • 2 tbsp Whipping Cream
  • 2 tsp Whipping Cream
  • 2 tbsp vanilla custard powder
  • 2 cup confectioners’ sugar,sifted
  • 4 oz For the top layer:semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
