Pesto:

2 cups mint sprigs

2 tablespoons toasted pine nuts

4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

-- Kosher salt to taste

-- Few drops lemon juice

Chowder:

4 tablespoons butter

3/4 cup chopped onion

1 garlic clove, minced

1/2 cup chopped celery

4 cups fresh corn kernels, from about 6 ears corn

1 cup diced potato

2 cups chicken stock or low-sodium broth

3/4 cup half and half

-- Kosher salt and pepper to taste
