  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tsps mustard powder
  • 2 1/2 tsps chili powder
  • 2 tsps ground cumin
  • 1 can (14 1/2 ozs) whole tomatoes, with juice
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup packed light-brown sugar
  • 4 cans (14 1/2 ozs each) pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 Tbsp cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper
