12 Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 Tbsps vegetable oil
  • 1/2 lb chicken cutlets, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped or cut with kitchen scissors into small pieces
  • 2 tsps Thai fish sauce
  • Freshly ground pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 can chicken stock
  • 2 cups jasmine rice
  • 2 cups 300-count baby shrimp (that means 300 shrimp are in one lb)
  • 3 scallions
  • 20 leaves fresh basil
