1 tsp olive oil

Big pinch red pepper flakes, to taste

1/4 pound bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces

5 x cloves garlic, chopped

1 x onion, chopped

2 cups broth or water

Salt and pepper

1/2 x chipotle pepper, optional but recommended
