3 lbs country-style pork ribs , thick, marbled with fat

1 tablespoon salt

STEP TWO a wet-dry rub

2 tablespoons dried oregano

2 teaspoons seasoned pepper (I use McCormick)

STEP THREE sauce

STEP ONE meat tenderizer

2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce

barbecue sauce (I use Bull's Eye Original)

12 cups water

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 teaspoon garlic powder
