1/4 teaspoon dried red-pepper flakes

1/2 teaspoon salt

4 tablespoons olive oil

2 quarts mixed salad greens (about 6 ounces)

3/4 cup halved cherry tomatoes (about 1/4 pound)

1 1/2 teaspoons wine vinegar

1/4 teaspoon fresh-ground black pepper
