3 pounds skin-on, bone-in chicken breasts

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 medium yellow onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 teaspoon ancho chile powder

1 tablespoon sesame seeds

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

2 medium tomatoes, about 1 pound, chopped

1 cup low-sodium chicken broth or homemade stock

1/2 cup canned low-sodium tomato sauce

1/2 cup reposado Tequila

3 tablespoons raisins

1 ounce bittersweet Mexican chocolate, such as Ibarra, finely chopped

1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon cayenne

Toasted pumpkin seeds, for garnish

Warmed flour tortillas, for serving.
