Asian Prawn Stir Fry

I don't use measurements so this is an estimate. Your sauce should be spicy, salty, sweet and tangy all in one. The hoisin will add the thickness. Add 1/2 tbsp of minced onion to help bind. I used a stick blender to puree it all together. Any vegetables or protein can be used.

Ingredients for 4 servings

1 pkg rice stick noodles

20 peeled and deveined prawns

2 carrots

2 red bell pepper

2 yellow bell peppers

1 container water chestnuts

1 yellow onions

1 clove garlic

1 crown broccoli

1/2 head red cabbage

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp sesame oil

1 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tbsp hoisin sauce

1 tsp sriracha

1 tsp togarashi

1/2 tsp garlic powder

olive oil

pepper

water

Preparation

1.

Toss Prawns with olive oil, togarashi, salt, pepper

Bring pot of water to a slow boil, remove from heat and add rice stick noodles. Let sit for 10 min until noodles are done.

Heat wok and add olive oil

4.

Sauté prawns and set aside

5.

Mix sauce: soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, sriracha, togarashi

6.

Add part of the sauce to the vegetables

7.

Add vegetables to wok and oil and sauté til al dente

8.

Return prawns to the wok and mix with vegetables. Add more sauce as needed.

9.

Plate over rice stick noodles
