1/2 cup diced red onion

1 cup cooked black beans

2 cups cooked posole, or cooked hominy

1 1/2 cups diced plum tomatoes

2 tablespoons tomato paste

2 serrano chiles, sliced

1 jalapeno chile, seeded, minced

2 poblano chiles, charred, seeded, chopped

1 cup fresh corn kernels

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1 1/2 cups chicken broth

1 tablespoon New Mexican red chile powder

1/2 tablespoon ground cumin

2 teaspoons salt

1 tablespoon masa harina (Quaker brand)

1/4 cup water
