Chili Cheese Sausage Noodle Soup

1/2 lb. sausage, sliced

1/2 lb. ground beef

2 tsp chili powder

1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper

1/2 tsp. onion powder

1/4 tsp. garlic powder

1 c. chopped mushrooms

2 c. diced onions

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 green pepper, seeded and chopped

1 celery stalk, chopped

1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes,with juice

3 tbsp flour

4-6 cups beef stock

2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese,

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1/2 c. noodles



In large pot fry sausage & beef. Drain off fat. Add chili powder, onion powder, cayenne & garlic powder. Mix in with meat over med. heat. Add mushrooms, onions & garlic. Cook till tender. Add green pepper, celery and diced tomatoes with juice. Cook 10 min. Stir in flour. Cook a couple minutes stirring frequently. Add stock to make consistency you like, let come to boil. Reduce heat, simmer 10 min. Stir in cheese, salt, pepper & noodles. Add more stock if needed. Cover, remove from heat. Serve once noodle have softened. Note: Use hot pepper if you like more heat and increase cayenne.
