1/2 cup corn (I use frozen corn that has been thawed)

2 large eggs

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup cornmeal

1/2 cup flour

1/2 cup grated monterey jack cheese

1/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup buttermilk

1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

1/4 cup butter , softened

1 teaspoon baking powder
