1 cup Frank's Red hot sauce, or your favorite hot sauce

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1/4 cup butter, softened

The fried seitan:

1 cup flour

1 cup rice flour

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Pinch of white pepper

1 egg

6 ounces mineral water

6 ounces beer

oil, for frying

2 (8-ounce) packages seitan

Carrots and celery, for serving
