1 stick butter

1 cup Hachiya persimmon pulp (~ 3 persimmons)

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup baking soda

1 tsp hot water

1 cup All-purpose flour

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp ginger powder (optional)

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/2 cup walnut halves

2 cup cream

1/4 cup granulated sugar

enough brandy to taste it

some more brandy and a match to flambé it to serve, you pyromaniac you
