Fine dried bread crumbs, for dusting the pan

2 cups flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 ounces semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped

1 ounce unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon almond extract

1 1/2 cups sugar

4 large eggs

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

2 cups (about 7 ounces) pecans, toasted (see NOTE), broken into medium pieces

1/2 cup water

2/3 cup sugar

2/3 cup light rum

1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
