  • 8 T. (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 t. good vanilla extract
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed (I mash them in a bowl with a fork)
  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 t. baking soda
  • ½ t. nutmeg
  • 1 t. cinnamon
  • ¾ c. mini-chocolate chips (optional)
