2 cups raw, organic almonds, soaked and dehydrated (dehydrating makes a crispy, raw crust, but you can bake your shell at a low temp in the oven if you are ok with the crust being vegan instead of raw.)

1 tbsp fresh, organic lemon or orange zest (optional, but adds great flavor)

1/2 cup pitted Medjool dates (how to pit)

Dash of cayenne (optional)

Pinch of pink Himalayan or Celtic sea salt

1 cup pitted Medjool dates, soaked in pure water for 1 hour (how to pit)

1 tsp cinnamon

¼ tsp nutmeg

1 tsp lemon zest

3 tbsp ground flax meal (this is a binder. You can buy whole seeds and grind fresh in a coffee grinder)

6 medium-sized organic apples (can use up to 9)

½ cup sundried organic raisins

1/2 cup raw, organic almonds, soaked and dehydrated

1/2 cup dates, pitted and soaked 1 hour at least (how to pit)

1 tbsp organic vanilla extract (less if you don’t want a strong vanilla flavor and gluten-, alcohol-free if you have a gluten sensitivity)
