Bread came out good. The cinnamon was a nice touch, tasted like dessert more than a snack! I will up my chocolate next time though to spread throughout bread more. Substitutions used: • Maple syrup instead of Vanilla extract (I ran out!) •A 1.75 ounce milk choc. bar instead of choc. chips • Baking powder instead of baking soda • And I swapped the white sugar for brown sugar instead. Also, lightly sprinkled the top with brown sugar, too.

8 T. (1 stick) unsalted butter

1 cup sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon good vanilla extract

3 ripe bananas, mashed (I mash them in a bowl with a fork)

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon nutmeg

1 teaspoon cinnamon

½ cup semisweet chocolate chips
