Refrigerator Pickles

7 cups sliced cucumbers

1 cup green peppers

1 cup onions

2 Tbsp salt

1 red pimento (optional)


1 cup vinegar

2 cups sugar

2 tsp celery seed or mustard seed or celery salt

(we use mustard seed)



Mix first 5 ingredients. Let stand for 1 hour. Drain and rinse with water.


Add the remaining 3 ingredients. Put in refrigerator.
