1 whole fillet wild Alaskan salmon, 2-3 pounds

1 lemon, very thinly sliced

2 bunches asparagus, trimmed

1 Tablespoon olive oil

1 pound haricots verts, trimmed and steamed or boiled until al dente

6 hard-boiled eggs, shelled and cut in half lengthwise

1/2 cup kalamata, oil-cured or other black olives

8 cups baby arugula

1/4 cup capers

1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil

3 Tablespoons Champagne vinegar

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Chopped fresh herbs, such as basil, tarragon, and/or chervil, if desired

Salt and pepper
