1 quart vegetable stock or chicken broth

4 garlic cloves, coarsely chopped

1/4 cup thinly sliced fresh mint leaves

1 3/4 to 2 cups diced tomatoes (canned OK)

Juice of 4 oranges

Grated zest of 1/2 to 1 orange

Lemon juice

Salt

Hot pepper sauce (Tabasco, Yucateco, etc)
