1/2 cup GF buckwheat flour or almond meal

1/2 cup tapioca starch (or potato starch)

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

3/4 cup almond butter

2 large organic free-range eggs, beaten

1 cup organic light brown sugar

4 tablespoons organic coconut oil

2 teaspoons almond extract

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/2 cup chopped sprouted almonds (and more for decorating tops)

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips- optional
