1 tablespoon olive oil, plus more to finish

2 strips bacon (optional)

2 small cloves garlic, minced

1 pint cherry tomatoes, washed

3 cups chopped swiss chard

2 cups fresh corn cut off of the cob

2 cup broth, vegetable or chicken

3 tablespoons butter

1/2 cup grated parmesan
