Ingredients for 1 serving

1 cup strawberry , fresh or frozen

1 teaspoon bee pollen (my own addition, with thanks to Rita L for getting me back into the habit! I use CC Pollen) (optional)

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional, Penzeys has several wonderful varieties)

1 slice fresh ginger , peeled (to taste)

1 cup red grapes or seedless black grapes (which are sweet and a bit spicy)

1 cup ice cube (OR frozen skim milk or soy milk cubes, combined with frozen grapes and strawberries to make 1 cup)

1/2 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt (or a similar amount of soy milk if a vegan smoothie is needed) or low-fat strawberry yogurt (or a similar amount of soy milk if a vegan smoothie is preferred)
