Pamela these were soooo good. I had overripe bananas and decided to try this. Even my kids liked them. A healthy dessert we all liked- that's priceless! Thank you.

Ingredients

1 ¾ cups blanched almond flour (not almond meal – I use Honeyville)

¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon fine grain sea salt

2 Tablespoons of chia seeds + 1 Tablespoon for muffin tops

½ cup diced pitted dates, about 7 dates (easier to dice when they’re cold) (optional, or ½ cup chocolate chips)

4 Tablespoons melted unrefined coconut oil

4 Tablespoons whole unsweetened yogurt

1/3 cup 100% pure maple syrup or honey

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

3 medium very ripe bananas, mashed
