3/4 cup chopped pecans

3 cups fresh or frozen cranberries (reserve a few for garnish)

1 1/3 cups sugar, divided

1/2 cup water

Juice and rind of 1 orange

2 envelopes unflavored gelatin

1/2 cup cold water

11 ounces (1 8-ounce and 1 3-ounce package) cream cheese

2 cups dairy eggnog

2 1/2 cups whipping cream, divided

Nutmeg for garnish

Mint leaves for garnish

Butter Dough:

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter

1/2 cup sugar

1 egg

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

pinch of salt
