Ingredients for 4 servings

1 cup steel cut oats (use certified gluten-free oats for GF oatmeal)

4 cups water

2 apples, peeled, cored, & cut into bite size pieces

2 Tablespoons maple syrup (you can use any sweetener you want)

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

pinch of nutmeg

pinch of salt

¼ cup raisins
