3/4 pound skinless, boneless firm white fish, such as halibut

3 tablespoons lime juice

3 tablespoons lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves, crumbled

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup diced sweet Maui or red onion

1 ripe tomato, diced

1/2 cup diced English cucumber

2 tablespoons chopped cilantro

1/2 firm-ripe avocado, diced

Cayenne pepper to taste, or 1 seeded jalapeno, minced

4-8 tostadas (see Note)
