Ingredients for 6 servings

4 beetroot, cooked

1 garlic clove, roughly chopped

2 teaspoons of ground cumin

2 tablespoons of pomegranate molasses, plus extra to drizzle

1 tablespoon of tahini

Juice of 1 lemon

Sea salt and ground black pepper

2 tablespoons of sesame seeds, toasted, to serve

500 g bread flour, plus extra for dusting

2 x 7.5g sachet of easy blend dried yeast

1 teaspoon of sea salt, plus extra to sprinkle

350 ml of tepid water

1 tablespoon of honey

1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil, plus extra for oiling

2 tablespoons of nigella seeds or poppyseeds

1 egg, lightly beaten

Dried polenta, to sprinkle
